Michael Trevino Joins The Cast Of The CW ‘Roswell’ Reboot | TV News

This year seems to be a year of reboots for The CW. After presenting us the main cast for the new Charmed reboot, they are showing us what they have in stock for the Roswell reboot, and we have to say the cast for the pilot seems to be right from our dreams.

A few days ago, The CW released the names of six cast members: Jeanine Mason, Nathan Parsons, Lily Cowles, Heather Hemmens, Michael Vlamis and Tyler Blackburn. Now they have given us another name. Michael Trevino will be joining the Pilot as Kyle Valenti.

As the reboot is a project of Julie Plec who was the showrunner of The Vampire Diaries, and Carina Adly MacKenzie who wrote for The Originals, he can feel like coming home. He starred in both shows as Tyler Lockwood so he knows who he’s working with. Plec also has experience with supernatural / sci-fi shows so there is a good chance that this will be a hit.

The original show aired from 1999 until 2002 and starred the likes of Katherine Heigl, Emilie de Ravin, Jason Behr amongst others. The new series seems to focus more on the book series it is based on. At least they want to integrate the immigration twist that is a part of the books. We will see what will happen after the Pilot.
