If you’re like me, I clicked on this track, “Work It”, out of curiosity. It was recommended on YouTube and sometimes, YouTube directs me to some pretty nice songs. Sometimes.
Nonetheless, I will be honest: the song is pretty cool. Mike Darole’s style is definitely soothing as he embraces the singing rap style that we have become accustomed to in the hip-hop realm. “Work It” comes out just ahead of his mixtape release, Hello, on April 9. Although the song was originally released last year, featuring YG; Ray J was the new addition to the track and I have to say he sounds better than I remember.
