MØ – Final Song | Music Video

Mo

Danish pop sensation is back on track: after the Diplo-produced “Kamikaze”, which failed to impress the public and the charts, the “Lean On” songstress released a second track for her yet-untitled new album.

“Final Song” is a joyous indie-pop track stuffed with infectious synths, trade-mark of MNEK, who produced the track after his stellar efforts with the likes of Madonna and Zara Larsson. Noonie Bao completes the dream-team trio, delivering sharp and heart-felt lyrics about being abandoned by your beloved one.

MØ just released the official video for the track, which won’t be remembered as the most original work of 2016: a desert, some dancers and a levitating popstar. Do we need to say anything else? Watch the clip below and don’t scream at MØ’s massive makeover: a new blondie is in town!

I speak as loud as the volume I listen to music, and this is probably symptomatic of my love for pop music: I love pop music because it is often unapologetically in-your-face, it shouts rather than tell, it drives you crazy. And after 21 years loving pop music, I think I’ve completely gone mad. It all started in 1997, when my mum bought me my first cassette: needless to say, it was ‘Barbie Girl’ by Aqua, and from that point on, it’s been a never-ending loving relationship between me and music. I study, work and live life part-time, and listen to music full-time.
