Mothica is an indie, alternative artist who describes herself on her Facebook page as a “young moth making music in her free time based in Brooklyn, NY”. She has recently put out a dark, deep track called “It’s Not Always Safe Here”, which deals with the struggles and coping mechanisms that are involved with the disease of depression. She created this short piece in her room, but the lack of high studio production quality is overpowered by the touching feelings of sadness and melancholy, and even enhances the genuine sound of this song.
