Muse Lands Fifth UK #1 Album With ‘Drones’ | Music News

Muse’s latest album Drones has gone straight to number 1 on the UK charts after selling almost 73,000 copies in its first week alone. The record will be the band’s fifth number one album and will replace Florence & The Machine’s How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, which has spent a week on the top spot. The latest album features singles “Dead Inside” and “Mercy” and is set to claim the number one spot on in the US charts too. Lead singer Matt Bellamy has previously suggested that he believes the album is their best album to date, stating: “That’s not something I’ve been able to say for a while”.
