My Chemical Romance Upload Mysterious Teaser Video | Music News

My Chemical Romance, a rock band that broke up in 2013, have uploaded a new 30-second video titled MCRX, featuring a flag slowly waving to an instrumental of hit song “Welcome To The Black Parade”.

To quash any rumours of a reunion or a tour, the band have stated: “We’ve been really touched and blown away by the response to the teaser trailer. We are not touring and there is no reunion planned – only a release for the anniversary of The Black Parade. Thanks so much for continuing to keep MCR in your minds and in your hearts”.

The Black Parade was released ten years ago in 2006, which could explain the X – the Roman numeral value of 10.

As well as the video, the band’s merch store now stocks a shirt in two colours with the design from the video, and various social media sites have changed their profile pictures to the same design.

Hey, I'm Sam and I'm a big fan of music from all genres, with some of my favourites being Experimental Hip Hop and dream pop. I also love video games and their soundtracks, particularly Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid games.
