NBC Cancels ‘Hannibal’ After Three Seasons | TV News

 

NBC has cancelled Hannibal after only 3 seasons. The current season, comprising of 13 episodes, will be the show’s last, running up until September 3. Writer Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daises, Dead Like Me) said in a statement, “NBC has allowed us to craft a television series that no other broadcast network would have dared… Hannibal is finishing his last course at NBC’s table this summer, but a hungry cannibal can always dine again“.

 

NBC stated that they were “incredibly proud of Hannibal over it’s three seasons. Bryan and his team of writers  and producers as well as our incredible actors, have brought a visual palette of storytelling that has been second to none in all television – broadcast or cable“. We bid you adieu Hannibal and eagerly wait to see what Bryan Fuller has up his sleeves next.
