BBC Newsnight’s Deputy Editor Neil Breakwell has been appointed as head of Vice UK’s news operation. Breakwell will take the new position after previously working on BBC Radio 4 programmes including Today and World At One, and joins the company in the midst of Vice’s global news operation shedding twenty members of staff as it is restructured.
Breakwell commented: “I’m thrilled to be joining Vice News at one of the most dynamic and exciting times in journalism.
