Neil Patrick Harris And David Burtka To Star In ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ | TV News

 

As the new season of the highly anticipated horror anthology American Horror Story: Freak Show hits our screens, daily reports continue to detail what is in store for the rest of the season. It was recently announced that series regulars Emma Roberts and Angela Bassett would be joining the cast once again, and Lily Rabe who has appeared in every season of the hit show will also reprise her role as Sister Mary Eunice, a character from season two; American Horror Story: Asylum.

 

As of yesterday, TV Line had reported that newlyweds Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka will also join the cast! Having previously collaborated with series creator Ryan Murphy on an episode of Glee, the How I Met Your Mother star will appear in the penultimate episode of Freak Show as a “chameleon salesman”. Burtka on the other hand has been cast in the final episode for an upcoming “sexy storyline” with circus leader Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange).

 

With every detail announced, the new season is igniting a substantial amount of attention and looking to be the hottest installment yet. Harris has recently starred in David Fincher’s newest thriller and Oscar Award worthy film Gone Girl, which conveys his edge for horror and thrills, sure to appear more pronounced in Freak Show.
