Netflix’s ‘A Series Of Unfortunate Events’ Renewed For Second Season | TV News
Netflix revealed today, on their YouTube channel, “a miserable message” directing viewers to a website hidden within the video where Lemony Snicket himself revealed that A Series Of Unfortunate Events has been renewed for a second season.
Based on the international best-selling series, the show has continued Netflix’s high quality output with critical praise alongside new and returning fans. While the online network doesn’t reveal how many viewers their shows garner, it’s unsurprising the show has been picked up for a second run.
Starring Neil Patrick Harris, the show tells the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans — Violet, Klaus and Sunny — whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. It’s another feather in Netflix’s cap; their domination of the TV world continues.
