New ‘Doctor Who’ Spinoff Entitled ‘Class’ | TV News

 

With the hit BBC show Doctor Who absent from our screens during 2016, the digital controller of BBC Three, Damian Kanavagh has revealed that the upcoming DW spinoff Class will have “amazing vision“. The spinoff is set to be written by A Monster Calls writer Patrick Ness and produced by Brian Minchin.

 

Talking about the new writers attached to Class, Kanavagh admits: “I’ve read some of the scripts, I’ve met and talked to Patrick and Brian, and I think they’re vision for it is amazing“. The upcoming young adult spinoff will be set in Coal Hill school, where previous companions such as Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) have worked and the series will follow its students as they battle intergalactic monsters and aliens.
