New ‘Finding Dory’ Trailer Hints At First Lesbian Couple In Disney History | Film News
The latest trailer for Pixar’s Finding Dory has dropped, and with it, speculation that the feature could include the first lesbian couple in the studio’s history.
Serving as a sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo, the main character of the movie – Dory – is voiced by TV host and personality Ellen DeGeneres. During the course of the trailer, when an octopus knocks a child out of her stroller at a sea life centre, the child’s carers, both women, turn around to check on her.
It is this scene in particular that has led to speculation that this shows Disney and Pixar have included lesbians in the upcoming film.
