The 2016 MTV Movie Awards offered us several exciting film glimpses yesterday, not only did they give us another look at Suicide Squad but they also offered us a more extended look at the highly anticipated Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The teaser trailer which was introduced by star Eddie Redmayne and described as a “wee glimpse” introduces us to our new hero Newt Scamander (Redmayne), an array of new and exciting characters, an entirely new setting (the roaring twenties in New York), and a new magical mythology.
The trailer definitely delivers in terms of beautiful period details and spell-casting, but the most enticing and magical part of the teaser has to be the opening where Dumbledore and Hogwarts are name-checked. It does cause quite a shiver and tingling sensation in your stomach, and make you long for November and the wizarding world of J.K. Rowling.
