Dodgy suits, dead porn stars and early disco? Yep, it’s a 70’s-set neo-noir film. Shane Black‘s latest project, The Nice Guys has released a new trailer which shows leading men Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling bonding through their private eye shenanigans.
The Nice Guys is set in 1977 and follows Holland March (Gosling), a luckless private investigator, as he teams up with hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) to solve a case revolving around a missing girl but soon comes to encompass a dead porn star and a conspiracy that reaches into the highest echelons of power. An ineffectual investigator and a violent enforcer who will even offer his services to Gosling’s daughter; what could go wrong?
The Nice Guys is due to hit cinemas July 3 and you can see the new trailer below.
