Nicole Scherzinger Is Returning To ‘The X Factor’ | Music News
Nicole Scherzinger is the first The X Factor judge to be confirmed to join Simon Cowell for the new series. The judge will return to the show after she took time out to perform the musical Cats and focus on her music career. Dermot O’leary will also return to present the show after a year out.
Nicole was supposed to be performing Cats on Broadway with its creator Andrew Lloyd Webber but pulled out to appear on ITV‘s flagship show. Andrew was given little notice of her departure and despite being unhappy about the singer’s decision to leave the show, conceded that the star isn’t as well knowing in America as she is in the UK.
The former Pussycat Doll is likely to be joined by returning judge Louis Walsh and it is rumoured that Sharon Osbourne is in talks to return to the music talent show. The programme is aiming to capture a big audience following the departure of presenting duo Olly Murs and Caroline Flack as well as judges Cheryl, Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw. Let’s hope Nicole has made the right decision.
