Night Games – Suffocate | New Music

Night Games 01.06.2016ANDREW

Newcomers, Night Games, come with their latest effort, “Suffocate”. The East London duo released the track ahead of an exclusive run of London shows, starting on Thursday, June 16 at F. Cooke Pie and Mash shop on Hoxton Street, and serves as an ideal opportunity to boost significantly the duo’s profile.

It opens with haunting vocals, with stabs of ominous keyboard. The vocals, when the verse kicks in, are dreamy. After the vocals proper start, the song then gets that touch more drama and tragedy. Its middle section is almost a vocal refrain, at least the dynamics change sizeably. The song then kicks in where it left off; big, booming drums.
