Nipsey Hussle had been missing in action for a while but he is back, putting out new music. The West Coast man follows his “Thug Life” song, featuring Young Thug, with a new one today titled “Ocean Views”. It is produced by Mike & Keys and DJ Khalil.
The track is kicked back piano, with occasional rattling drum before the song proper kicks in. After that, the beat is more in line with a vocal style that is almost at the very top of Nipsey’s lungs. His booming voice is commanding, and the intensity of the whole piece seems to increase in the last moments of the last verse, before a spacey fadeout.
