Norwegian Rockers Kråkesølv To Release Album End Of September | Music News

Kråkesølv, of Bodø, Norway, have quite a new take on rock, with Norwegian lyrics and great song writing. They are established in this as such that they are now almost onto album number five, consisting of two guitars, bass, drum and vocals. Also, a change in musical direction can be attributed to producer, Lars Horntveth (Jaga Jazzist and Susanne Sundfør).

Despite this, the lyrics retain their melancholy, an aspect that goes right back to Kråkesølv’s sound since their debut album. The new album, titled Pangea, is released Friday, September 30. Check out the band, think Dungeon and Radiohead, and their latest effort, also accompanied with the upcoming album’s artwork, “Lenge Sia Sist”, below:

I've always wanted to be involved in the media since before I even left school; to write for a living.I feel most eloquent when mapping out my thoughts on paper or on a computer screen.I studied media at college for two years, and went straight into third year at university studying publishing with journalism. After a range of work experience, I did a magazine journalism course in Bournemouth, a long way away from my hometown of Aberdeen, achieving my NCTJ qualifications. Now I spend my time gladly writing about music.
