Odesza – Memories That You Call (Petit Biscuit Remix) | New Music

Rouen based producer Petit Biscuit takes on recent electronic classic “Memories That You Call” by Odesza in his most recent remix. As electronic tunes of this status already resonate the airwaves with the highest standard, they must be treated with respect once attempted to adapt or better the original sound. This young Frenchman certainly gives Odesza a run for their money with his brave remix.

He manages to concentrate the sound on the beautiful vocals, which were somewhat washed out in the original thus acting as the focal point at the beginning and return to conclude the track. This kick-starts the track in a delightful fashion. In between the vocal sandwich is a powerful surging drop which incorporates high bombastic synths and distorted electronic breaks. An all round consistent track, which flows superbly from start to finish. Click below to hear Petit Biscuit’s remix.

From indie to electronic to chillwave to rap to folk, I love to write about all the up-and-coming gems of music as well as the legendary bands which have developed my love for music. Although it makes putting my music library on shuffle quite an undesirable experience. Feel free to follow me on twitter for more music related posts.
