Orlando Bloom To Return To ‘Pirates of The Caribbean’ | Film News
With the Pirates of The Caribbean franchise still going despite narratives getting more and more ridiculous as time goes on, fans were always wondering whether our favourite original characters, Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightly) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), were ever coming back. Well, as luck has it, Orlando Bloom may well return to his swashbuckling ways for Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales.
When Bloom spoke to IGN, he mentioned that he could be returning and the new movie might be a reboot; “I’m not entirely sure that [I’ll be back] just yet, but there are talks,” he said. “Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son” Bloom continued; “I’m of course Davey [sic] Jones now, so I’m down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I’m rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won’t look anything like me. [Gestures to face] Get all gnarly”.
We’d be very much up for seeing Bloom back in his role of Will Turner, even though he may look a little different and “gnarly”. Do we think Keira Knightly will ever reprise her role as the beautiful Elizabeth Swan? We doubt it but hey, one out of two of the dream couple aint half bad!
