At recent live shows, Pink Floyd‘s David Gilmour has played two new songs, “Girl With a Yellow Dress” and “Boots on the Ground“, and now he has announced a new album; Rattle That Lock. According to several sources, the album is set for release in September and will feature collaborations with Jools Holland, Phil Manzanera and Polly Sampson (Gilmour’s wife) and features a common theme throughout of “seize every moment, look to the future… and don’t be afraid or look back”. Rattle That Lock is the long-awaited follow-up to his 2006 album On An Island.
