Pink Reveals She Was Rejected By Mary J. Blige For A Duet | Music News
Everybody know the singer and songwriter Alecia Beth Moore better known as her stage name Pink. By now she has has a long music career and just few days ago on October, 13 she released her 7th studio album entitled Beautiful Trauma with its lead song “What About Us“.
During these years of her music career, the American singer has collaborated with many artists, but Pink recently reveals during an interview on radio program The Morning Mashup that the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul Mary J. Blige upon the request to duet with her, the R&B singer brutally rejected her.
Pink said on the radio show: “Thats what I love about her, I respect it because so many people would be like,’Yeah, call me!’. I went into her trailer, long time ago, when I hosted the Soul Train Awards and I walked in and said, ‘hi, um, would you ever work with me?’ and she just took one look at me and went ‘no’. I go, ‘okay I love you Mary, I’ll see you again’“.
Luckily, Pink has also revealed that she has also asked the rapper Eminem to work with her, and he said yes.
