Pixel Fix – I Want You The Same | New Music

This Oxford four piece are steamrolling ahead with latest track “I Want You The Same” which premiered last night on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 Show. Lead singer Marcus‘ voice is familiar to say the least, resembling The 1975‘s Matthew Healey, a comparison to be proud of. The band consist of the standard indie band formula with a one on vocals, one on guitar, one one bass and one on drums, yet the style they produce ventures into other musical eras and areas. Incorporating chilled R&B sounds and electronic tampering to their raw indie instruments they break new bounds.

These rising stars were lucky enough to perform alongside some of the greatest bands and artists at the moment at Bestival last month and will only venture to newer and higher heights in the not so distant future. These young lads were kind enough to announce a free show at The Waiting Room in London on the December 7, so you have no excuses not to go! Get your free tickets here

A recent graduate with a BA in History. However, my passion lies in spreading the good word of music. Now I am all about the future, not what has happened in the past. From indie to electronic to chillwave to rap to folk, I love to write about all the up-and-coming gems of music as well as the legendary bands which have developed my love for music. Although it makes putting my music library on shuffle quite an undesirable experience. Feel free to follow me on twitter for more music related posts.
