Conversations About Her

PJ + Lupe Fiasco – Say | New Music

Chicago singer PJ is back with a little help from the forgotten man and fellow Chicagoan Lupe Fiasco. This airy, electronic and positive sounding song actually focuses on those people who ironically end up in the same place after saying this is their year, along with other things people say about break ups and wanting to quit jobs. Lupe Fiasco adds the word play and intelligence he is known for, to an otherwise mediocre song. Give the song a listen below and lets see what you “say”.

I am a 23 year-old musician from Luton, who graduated from De Montfort University with a 2:1 in BA Music Technology & Performance. I sing and write songs in my spare time and I am a massive music enthusiast. I listen to all kinds of different music from indie rock and folk to hip hop and deep house, but I am mainly influenced by hip hop and R&B. I have been interested in music all my life, it shaped my life from phase to phase and I cannot live without it. I try and see live music when I can and attended Reading Festival last year to see my favorite indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. My other interests include superhero and horror films, sports and binging on TV shows.
