Prince Removes Discography From Streaming Services Except Tidal | Music News

Prince has removed all his discography from all streaming services except Tidal. “Prince’s publisher has asked all streaming services to remove his catalog, we have cooperated with the request and hope to bring his music back as soon as possible“, was the message Spotify users were greeted with when they tried to access the legend’s music via the streaming service. There has been a lot of controversy over streaming sites recently, and debates over artists being exploited and not being paid for their hard work. Tidal, which is owned by the infamous Jay Z is a service that makes sure the audience and fans can enjoy the music, with the artists still getting what they deserve for their hard work.

My name is kira and I study Media and Communications. I live in the beautiful and wonderfully diverse city of Brighton. I've loved writing since a young child when I would write poems about my goldfish and leaves I found on the floor. (I'm hoping my writing style has slightly progressed since then!) I love listening to live music and try to go to as many gigs as possible. Follow my social media if you want to know more!
