Quentin Tarantino’s ‘The Hateful Eight’ To Be Scored By Ennio Morricone | Film News

Director Quentin Tarantino has announced that Ennio Morricone will compose the score for his new western film The Hateful Eight. The composer has previously worked with Tarantino on other successful projects such as Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained and has won an honorary academy award for his contributions to the art of film music. Lots of new information was given about the much anticipated film through a seven minute clip that was shown during the film’s comic-con panel. This included the reveal of the feature being filmed on an extra-wide 70mm camera lens (the same was used for Ben-Hur), setting it up to be an incredible cinematic experience around January 8, 2016.
