Rapper, Ameer, has been quite busy, as of late. He had visuals for new track, “Super Star”, a few weeks back. His new album, Peace Beloved, is due out (Friday, May 13). This of which has Pete Rock’s involvement. What is more, a book came out Monday, May 9. Now a documentary comes out today (Wednesday, May 11).
The documentary explores the rapper’s identity as a rapper and talks about his life. He addresses, at one point, the fact that, due to his name, people assume he is a Muslim. He also talks about his time in the army. There is also testimony from other people, giving it a more rounded and objective feel.
