The legendary rock festival, Reading and Leeds, has finally announced its first headliner and it’s looking like it ought to be a crowd pleaser. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers will be headlining the UK festival come August bank holiday 2016, after a nine year break, since the last time they topped the bill. The band played in 1994, 1999 and 2007, so are almost certain to be a popular choice, compared to previous more controversial acts such as Eminem. Other acts announced include the 1975, Slaves, Twenty One Pilots, The Courteeners as well as up and coming artist Rat Boy plus more to be announced. Looking good so far Reading & Leeds.
