Reformation Recreates Iconic Red Dress From ‘Pretty Woman’ | Fashion News

The outfits that Vivian Ward – Julia Roberts – wore 18 years ago in Pretty Woman are trends today. This Spring/Summer, shops are full of dresses and playsuits of the polka-dots print, similar to what she was wearing when she attended the horse race with Edward Lewis – Richard Gere – and now the American brand Reformation has launched a design that will be familiar to you.

It is a red dress inspired by the one that Vivian was wearing when she went to the opera for the first time and the famous scene in which Edward presents the box with the amazing necklace. A dress designed by the film’s stylist Marilyn Vance, even though people thought it was a Valentino because of the neckline and colour.

Almost 20 years later, the signature has launched the off-the-shoulder ‘Bali Dress‘ on their website, which can be bought either in red, black or nude, and it costs $388. It is a look that can make fans feel like Vivian while they wear it to a wedding or a party.
