Riz Ahmed Scheduled For Two Big Hollywood Releases In 2016 | Film News
33 year old British born Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed is gearing up for two big Hollywood box office releases in 2016. Ahmed is scheduled to appear in the upcoming Star Wars anthology film Rogue One as well as the fifth installment of the Bourne franchise alongside Matt Damon.
He has been described by many critics as an emerging talent in the British film industry with a long list of successful films he has appeared in. These films include The Road to Guantanamo, Shifty, Four Lions, Ill Manors, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Black Gold and Nightcrawler. Fellow Nightcrawler co-star Jake Gyllenhaal described his acting performance in this film as one of best he has ever witnessed in the film industry.
The future is yet still uncertain for Riz Ahmed but his fans are hoping his impact in Hollywood will continue for many years to come and that he still remains an influential figurehead for ethnic representation within Western cinema.
