Robin William’s Children Lead Tribute To Him At World Series | Film News

After the sad passing of sensational actor and comedian Robin Williams, many are still offering their own tributes and now the children of the great actor have made their own tribute at the World Series in San Francisco. As the World Series kicked off this week, the children of Robin Williams took to centre field with friend of Williams, Billy Crystal, to dedicate the first pitch of the season to their father. Son, Zak Williams, took the mound, with his Giant’s jersey with “WILLIAMS 1” printed on the back, and pitched the ball to Billy Crystal to open the series.

With William’s being a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants, this was the perfect tribute for the star. Zak, Zelda and Cody said in a statement: “We are honoured to be here in tribute to our father, someone who loved his hometown and especially the Giants… for all of us, it is a tremendous delight and a little surreal to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of a World Series game for our team to our dad’s best friend“. I am sure if Robin Williams were here, he would be honoured at the response and celebration that has been made for him.
