Robin Wright Launches ‘Pour Les Femmes’ Sleepwear Collection | Fashion News
Launched exclusively in Selfridges this week, Robin Wright’s sleepwear range ‘Pour Les Femmes’ combines comfort and stylish quality. Modeled entirely by Wright’s daughter Dylan Penn, the line was created alongside the help of her close friend and designer Karen Fowlerm. As if luxury pyjamas couldn’t sound more appealing, all profit goes towards two organisations that work in supporting women who suffer from violence in the Congo, Action Kivu and Synergie DesFemmes.
It’s clear that this line means a lot more to Wright than just a business venture, as she goes on to explain. “The mission of this brand is to design sleepwear that symbolizes the comfort and security which is our basic human right“. Working as a symbol to highlight the right, women have to feel secure in an environment, that many of us take for granted, the line is intended to highlight violence against women and bring it to a new light.
Selfridges buying manager Lydia King said of the collection, “Sleepwear is real growth category for us – our customers love being at home and in bed in style. Great nightwear makes her feel good. Being able to buy a brand that supports women’s charities will make her feel even better“. The line is available for purchase here.
