Ruby Rose shot to fame this summer after her appearance as Stella Carlin in Orange Is The New Black, but, unbeknownst to some, she also DJs. Unfortunately though, she has been getting some “negative judgmental s**t” from people online that has provoked a response. She took to social media posting old pictures of herself DJing and mentions that she’s been at it since 2009, even alongside seasoned musicians like Calvin Harris and Skrillex.
She said that female DJs find it tough to get recognition and that everything she does “is a result of hard work and I’m proud of it”. Rose is also a model, TV presenter, clothes designer, and more. The message here is, simply, don’t underestimate Ruby Rose.
