According to reports at Deadline.com, American Horror Story creator and writer Ryan Murphy has confirmed the cast members making a return to the next season of the popular horror anthology series.
Murphy, speaking at Paleyfest, was joined on stage by the eight returning cast members which included: Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson and Matt Bomer. While singer Lady Gaga was not present, she has been confirmed that she is returning to the series.
Murphy himself teased fans what they could expect for season 6, stating:
“The interesting thing about the next season is that we’ve been working on two ideas at once, which we’ve never done.” Further, the creator suggested that the upcoming season will be influened by “the Opera.”
