SLUGGERS, after having teased the title track for their upcoming Anthem EP, have now come forward with latest release, “So Much Love”. The EP is due Friday, October 28, and recent output has seen them garner support from the likes of A-Trak, Diplo and Skrillex and standout slots at Ultra, EDC and other global dance festivals.
“So Much Love” has a foreboding groove to it, pounding bass drum assisted by some eerie Doctor Who esque aspects. The female vocals lend it a moody sassiness, the bass deep and sometimes overdriven. Said bass is isolated briefly for a sense of dynamics that drops back other elements to help the track permeate deep inside the listener’s mind.
