After its release on October 26, Spectre has taken a massive $543m worldwide, topping the North American box office once again this weekend. The twenty-fourth Bond film remained top of the US box office by taking $35.4m in its second weekend, bringing the total to $130.7 in the area. The blockbuster also took $48m on its debut weekend in China as it continues to impress movie-goers around the world.

There was contrasting news however for Angelina Jolie, whose new film with husband Brad Pitt suffered from poor reviews as well as poor figures. Jolie’s third feature as director, By The Sea, only managed to take $95,440 at the US Box Office, however this was a limited release with additional cinemas to be added next weekend.
