‘Star Wars’ Reveals New Details About ‘The Force Awakens’ Stormtroopers | Film News
Ahead of next week’s San Diego Comic-Con, Hasbro has released a look at its’ new exclusive Stormtrooper action figure, complete with special booklet containing information on how the new generation of imperial soldiers came to be.
Along with the history and evolution of the troopers from the prequel films, the booklets’ blurb also contains plot details for The Force Awakens in the form of how the original Imperial Stormtroopers became the First Order. In the aftermath of the fall of the Emperor, a new authority, namely the First Order, rose to power, ushering a new era of “ruthless brutality“. In this new era, Stormtroopers are the enforcers of this rule.
The First Order seems to be taking on a lot of the principles and look from the Galactic Emperor, however we can see moderate changes in the new Death Star and Stormtrooper designs. J J Abrams is keeping his cards very close to his chest, yet we can hope to gain some more juicy details about the next Star Wars installment next week at the international comic convention. You can see images of the 6-inch action figure below. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will shoot to our cinema screens on the 18th of December.
