‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Brings In Big Numbers At Japan Box Office | Film News
J.J. Abrams‘s feature Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which has grossed $1.75 billion globally (and still counting), is having major success in Japan too, where it is on course to cross the $100 million mark soon.
The movie has earned almost $70 million (￥8.27 billion), especially benefiting of the different versions of the film being release in the country, such as the English-language version and the dubbed version.
With $5.3 million (￥420 million) grossed just the last weekend, Star Wars is staying on top of the Japan box office for its’ fourth weekend.
