Well put simply, no. After, the departure of The Doctor’s most recent companion, Clara, speculation as to who Peter Capaldi’s next partner in crime will be has started up again. Many seem to be placing their bets on young Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams, after she appeared in an episode earlier in the series.

Speaking with the Radio Times, Steven Moffat has implied that the next Doctor Who companion will, as usual, be female. As far as Capaldi is concerned, this’ll be great news, as he stated he doesn’t want a male companion due to a fear that the writers will give his companion “all the action”.
