Synkro – Shoreline | New Music

Synkro, a.k.a Joe McBride, premiered his track “Shoreline” via Spin today (September 1) ahead of his debut LP Changes which is due for release on September 18 via R & S Records subsidiary Apollo. McBride cut his teeth in the UK’s Dubstep and Bass music scenes, releasing many smooth and soulful cuts always crafted with on point production.

“Shoreline” is an ambient track that features broken jerks of percussion and big atmospheric pads. There are other little touches, such as the shuffling break, which indicate McBride’s assimilation of influences from various points within UK electronic music. It also features the croons of Robert Manos who supplies the vocals that wash around on top of the deep sounds McBride creates. Listen to the track below.
