Synopsis And Start Date Confirmed For ‘Captain America: Civil War’ | Film News

With The Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theatres on May 1, Captain America fans are already wondering as to when production will start for the highly anticipated Captain America: Civil War. Well, according to a extra casting call sheet, production will begin in just a few weeks, with a set date of April 1.

Along with the casting call, an official synopsis has been released for the flick, with specific notes on just how much Civil War will relate to Age of Ultron; “Following the events of Age Of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man or Captain America, which causes an epic battle between former allies”.

While this is pretty much what everybody has been expecting, it’s still exciting news; allowing imaginations to run wild with thoughts on what we might see visually. With Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johansson all set to make their return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Captain America: Civil War is set to hit theatres on April 29, 2016.
