Take That To Headline England Rugby Team Send Off Event ‘Wear The Rose Live’ | Music News

Take That have officially been announced as the headline act for the 2015 England Rugby Send Off at the Wear Rose Live event. The Wear the Rose Live event is to celebrate the start of the 2015 Rugby World Cup. In a statement, Take That said: “We’re really excited to be returning to The O2 in September for this very special night, bringing together two of our favourite things, music and sport, we’ve met some of the England players preparing for the show and we’re delighted to be supporting Head Coach Stuart Lancaster and the whole England Rugby team in this huge year“.

The band added that, “we’ve been asked to perform some of our biggest hits to close Wear the Rose Live and look forward to seeing many of you there“. Performing at the event also will be Britain’s Got Talent 2014 winners Collabro, and Laura Wright, the England rugby team’s official anthem singer. The England Squad, coaches and management will be there for interviews that will be conducted throughout the event.

With more and more people getting into rugby and supporting the England Rugby team, this should be an amazing event to be at. Wear the Rose Live will take place at The O2 on September 9, with tickets on sale from July 29, priced from £20.15 up to £85. Watch the O2 Priority Advert for the event below.
