The video for TDot Illdude’s Timbaland-produced song “No One” came out last month and, today, the L.A. based, via New Jersey artist keeps the momentum going by releasing the visuals for “Sometimes”.

The song was produced by Cardiak, along with Mando Fresh. It is one of the standout tracks on his The Vibe Is Heavy EP, and starts off really kicked back. Occasional rattling drum is met by clicking fingers, sleepy horns and some, almost mumbled vocals. The latter appears to simulate the woozy feeling of the track. The rapped vocals are a similar style, too.

The Guru Media Group-directed video certainly tries its best to simulate the dreamlike feeling of the track, kicking back with views of palm trees, and the like. They help highlight, perhaps, the more melancholy aspect of the track, simple because you can see how the performance aspects of the video are delivered, maybe more sad than sleepy.
