North London rapper, Terminator, makes his visual comeback with the rather, to put it mildly, odd music video for his track, entitled “I C U”. Certainly, he does his utmost to justify his ferociously devastating moniker.
The backdrop for “I C U” is chopped up, like his fixation with knives, and imposing. The vocals are overdubbed with a rather demonic voice and, in turn, his delivery is robotic. Is he, indeed, the very Terminator cyborg of Hollywood fame? Does the title reference Intensive Care Unit, the voyeuristic tendencies of the calculated killer or both?
In terms of the visuals, handled by KO TV, it is shot in night vision, lending to varying shades of green and black. There is also a grainy effect, as if to accentuate the feel of an old horror film. This one of which taking place in creepy woods, the rapper in army fatigues.
