The 1975 Single ‘Love Me’ To Be Released | Music News

I remember watching an intriguing yet unknown indie band The 1975 supporting a Little Comets in a Brighton gig all the way back in the yester-years of 2012. I’ll never forget their comments after performing their final song, using dark comedy in its finest form they said something along the lines of “Please feel free to buy any of our merchandise to help us fund the train tickets we can’t currently afford to get back up to Manchester”.

Three years later they achieve a number one album in the UK charts and more recently they announce the release of a single off their sophomore album coming out October 8. “Love Me” will be premiered at 7:30pm on BBC Radio 1. Listen to The 1975’s track “Heart Out” from their self-titled debut album below.
