The Great Void – Eve Of Destruction | Music Video

Josh Ascalon, aka The Great Void, has just shared a video for his song “Eve Of Destruction”, which premiered via Fact Magazine. Ascalon’s track is a synth driven recreation of Barry McGuire’s (pictured above) 1965 performance of a heartfelt protest song of the same name. Ascalon has also synced his cover with a video of the original rendition on The Hullabaloo Show.

The track and the accompanying video juxtapose together fantastically and provide a great example of what can be done in a music video with found footage. Ascalon is set to release an LP titled Shift Age as The Great Void on September 4 via Olde English Spelling Bee. Go here to grab a copy of the LP when it drops. In the meantime, check out the video for “Eve Of Destruction” below through Fact Mag’s Youtube channel.
