‘The Man Who Wasn’t’ Novel To Be Adapted Into TV Series | TV News

The Ty Hunter series of novels written by Thomas Caplan is set to be adapted for TV, based on the upcoming second novel The Man Who Wasn’t. Producer Garth Ancier is developing the series for TV with Texas Rising star Trevor Donavan set to star as the title character.

The series is based around an ex-covert operative who has since become a film star, he is then enlisted by the President to become a spy and stop the trafficking of nuclear weapons, using his fame as his cover. The first novel The Spy Who Jumped Off The Screen was a huge success, with the book even getting a forward by ex-president Bill Clinton.
