The National Are Working On A New Album | Music News
The National have spoken with Stereogum in an article published today about a possible forthcoming album for which they’ve already written 15 “very f*****g amazing” songs- lead singer-songwriter Matt Berninger’s words, not mine (though I’m sure he’s right). As the first sign of a new album since 2013’s Trouble Will Find Me, this will no doubt have The National’s loyal fanbase on the edge of their seats.
In the meantime, however, fans will have to make do with the tribute album to The Grateful Dead the band are compiling with various artists, and rewatching their documentary Mistaken For Strangers. So, all in all, its not a bad time to be a fan of The National!
