‘The People V. O.J. Simpson’: Episode 8 – A Jury In Jail | TV Review

OJ

This episode takes a different look at the famous trial. The series has done a great job of keeping it varied; every week tackles a different aspect of how the final outcome was reached.

This episode looks at the jury, details of which are probably unknown by most. The restrictions they were under in the hotel they stayed in were surprising and difficult. They were not allowed to discuss the trial with anyone and were only permitted to see their family once a week. It was a strict regime and lasted far longer than they anticipated. Although lots of people wanted to be in the jury, it’s clear they didn’t exactly know what they were signing up for.

The rivalry between Marcia and Jonnie continue, and a significant amount of the jury are dismissed due to conflicting interests regarding the trial.
