The Vaccines Make Live Comeback In Brighton | Music News

The Vaccines made a live return last night (January 19), playing at Brighton’s Concorde 2 venue to coincide with the release of their new single Handsome. With a crowd of just a few hundred in attendance, the London quartet had the chance to showcase a selection of other new tracks from their upcoming third album English Graffiti as well as old favourites such as “Post-Break Up Sex”, “Wetsuit”, “Teenage Icon” and Blow It Up.

Despite their fairly extensive catalogue of songs, the Post-Punk revivalists condensed their set to under an hour – keeping their fast-paced, energetic reputation in order. NME’s Mark Beaumont described their new sound as succinctly AM-influenced, referring to the boudoir, quiff set rock of The Arctic Monkeys’ most recent album. The Vaccines begin a UK tour on the 27th of March, starting at RockCity, Nottingham. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 23 at 09:55am.
